mia nomo ek daniella>>>> see

Pyrrhus, what level of latin are you in and what school do you go to?

I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton. I love princeton.

enco, i still dont believe you love princeton.

Enco, what is your Classics background?

idk exactly what level i would be in, i've been taking latin for 5 years, did AP Horace/Catullus last year, doing AP Vergil this year.

Also, my Latin teacher wrote the book we use, and many colleges turned it down as "being too difficult" (I believe Princeton was one of them, but don't hold me to it) We started using the book in 8th grade.

Which means that in your FIRST year of Latin, you used a book that was too difficult for college students?

Py, Princeton has a very rigorous Classics program. It is very tough.
(5 years AP Latin; 3 years Greek)

yep, well we didnt do all of the book, it took 2.5 yrs to finish the book.

dude, I am seriously impressed

I hope the vernacular in the above statement reflected my state... can u guess?

I apologize sempitern, online posting can only go so far, and I'm afraid your vernacular (or maybe my interpretation of it) falls a bit short for me to truly know your tone.

If you are being sincere, and are generally impressed, my school's latin curriculum requires we use her book, so it's no personal accomplishment on my part.

If you're being sarcastic, pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo. Feel free to bring in enco to help you out with a translaiton. I was simply clarifiying for burbs, and answering enco's question. There was really no reason for you to get involved.

no I'm not being sarcastic

I was just trying to reflect my californianess by using the word dude

your knowledge of latin is impressive

ahhhh yes, californians. Can i take a stab in the dark that you're wearing or did wear sandals today?

hahaha...

you're weird

(Translation involves anal sex)

been reading too much catullus!

i havent really read any Catullus since last year, but that was one of my fav poems.

I wish I could have taken both AP Latins and started in 8th grade...:(

heu...I started in 10th grade.

But my latin program is pretty good, we've already been readings poems that are on the AP exams --catullus, horace, ovid, vergil, cicero, livy, pliny

Insani estis. No one wants to decipher the boards! j/k. I'm sure when we all get into Pton we'll have several Latin conversations...

-H2O-

I did wear sandals!.. and yes as much as I am impressed by the latin skills apparent here, I suggest we continue in a corrupted pidgin language with germanic/viking/latin/ norman roots otherwise known as modern english

btw... heres an interesting recitation we had to memorize in my hs class
