I'm in need of an opinion to stop myself from going crazy.

Hey,

I'm a CCC student majoring in maths with a 3.9GPA. However, I'm trying to transfer out in one year. I will have 51 units after this semester, and my AP units (all 5s) will push me over to 62 units. I'm just really scared about the unit count. I will have finished IGETC and my pre-reqs by the end of this semester, it's just that I need those APs to push me over to 60. I applied for TAG, I got rejected from TAG for Irvine because I had not already completed a semester of english before last semester. San Diego sent me something that said you'll see if you got tag when/if you get accepted, so I have no idea what that means. I have already gotten into UCSB but I still haven't heard from SD, which worries me because my top choice is Berkeley.

I applied to Berkeley, LA, SD, and SB.

I just really want to know what you think of my situation and if there's anything I can do about it. I'm just going crazy worrying about all of this.

Please help me out.

You should be happy you got into UCSB! Anything else is icing on the cake. Nothing you can do now just try to relax…I mean when your worst case scenorio is UCSB life aint too bad…

3.9 gpa for a major that isn’t really in high demand? You’re probably in to Berkeley/UCLA (at least one of those)

I wouldn’t worry if I were you, best of luck!

Don’t freak out! I’m sure you’ll be fine. If you got into SB, you must be UC eligible, so I don’t see why the others would deny you admissions (I mean, LA/Berkeley - no one knows what’s going on in their adcoms’ heads).

Here’s a fun link (esp for math majors) to distract yourself with:
