I'm in Public School-- BEAT THAT!!

You bet I am!

No... you weren't supposed to create the thread until we came up with a clever name. Haste makes waste.

i'm sorry :( forgiven? okay!

I don't know... it may take a few days for me to get over it.

somebodynew and Righteous_Vigilante as well as kchen would definitely beat that, for they say their schools are better (and one thinks far worse). For the most part, they probably are. However, some schools are not good (ie John Marshall, which has a ~20% matriculation rate, highest in the inner city).
And lablondie, do you live anywhere near Concordia College?

but... but...

I'm a public school attendee too. No shame. For a district short on money I think we're doing alright.

Concordia College... not quite
The Concordia Language Villages are 10 miles (?) from my house.

both of you have gone crazy
my school is one of the top in Long Island and NewYork.....we are soo good, we make the IB program look bad
:) beat that!!!

I go to public school!!! My honors lit teacher warned us that if we go to a good college it is gonna be very weird to us to see that almost all the students went to private schools. I think that we are OK for a public school...one thing they do right is put the good teachers for the honors/AP kids (with the possible exceptions of Honors Geometry and AP Calc)

I don't know if i understand though..what makes private school so great???

Since when did I say that my school is better?

i have no idea...

No, you implied it. You sound like you actually like your school. I don't like my own, and am judging "Beat That" on the basis of affinity alone.

and where did I sound like I actually liked my school?

kman1456, I didn't understand the post exactly. I do go to public school, but I wouldnt know where it stands on the "best" scale. So I can't say that I've said that my school is better. I would say that the teachers are nice and let you get away with divulging your risque-natured opinions about the world in your essays and such... They give you freedom, so that's what gives public schools some goodness.

I go to public school and would never want to go to private.

I love my public school. People here are smarter than at most private schools. :)

That may have something to do with my township being the richest in the county. Richer than Princeton and (of course) Trenton. Probably in all of central Jersey. :</p>

The thread about my erroneous assumptions about the religious HS workload. R_V, I am not permitted such freedom at home nor at school, so I am used to it.

This thread never existed...

You ain't a mod, so you can't delete the thread, no matter how beautiful and blonde you may be...
