white Californian male

oh from what i hear schools are a lot harder in Cali. than in GA, so it's not a big deal that your GPA is lower... the average GPA for Auburn in 3.51 (according to my ACT report), but you probably come from a school that is harder than most Al. and GA schools... i mean, we're 49th in the nation on SAT scores...

CA is pretty low on the standardized test scores, but im just gonna blame those dumb soCal sissies :D split! split! split!

ah looks like you guys killed us on this list...

on this list we got you by one.. 43 vs 44 ahah

http://www.morganquitno.com/edrank.htm

i was looking at the auburn website, and apparently you don't find out if you're being offered a scholarship until january... i have so little patience... i want to call them right now and have them say "We would love to PAY you to attend our college." but alas, that will not happen.

stupid ap scores haven't come yet either.

i was looking at the AP page for auburn, and for taking AP Stats, i would get credit for STAT 2510, but finance requires STAT 2610... hmm.

i should get science credit for AP Physics though, so that should be good for me, then ill only have to take astronomy and dodge the whole biology/chemistry category :D

i got a 2 in AP world and AP e.s. ha... i didn't care much about school in 10th grade, and both those teachers were first year ap teachers, for one it was her first year teaching and the genius in the class constantly corrected her on everything. we never even took a practice ap in either class. i don't think i even read half the chapters in either of those books. frankly, i'm surprised with the 2's, lol.

this year i did:
AP English - expecting at least a 3, hopefully a 4, very happy and shocked with a 5
AP Calculus AB - probably a 4 b/c the test was so hard, not too surprised w/ a 5, would be completely shocked and ****ed w/ a 3
AP Chemistry - hardest class i've ever taken, not surprised w/ a 2, 3, or 4... praying for a 3 lol

i'll let you know when my scores come in (hopefully tomorrow)... I could call auburn and try to get them, but for some reason i want to open the envelope and see them for the first time.

how did you complete your application? now i have to send in hs transcript, community college transcript, scores, and $25... but they didnt say anything about where to send it and all that.. uhHHhh

i had to go to my school and give them the address to send my transcript to... i haven't done community college yet but i imagine you would just have them send it to the admissions office as well... i paid the $25 on-line w/ a credit card... your parents should know how to send your scores, you can normally do it online... i printed out the additional information form and mailed that in...

the address is on there, when you click "go to on-line appclication at the bottom of the screen it says mail it here: and it 108 mary martin hall or something like that, but it tells you

i just got my scores today and i'm very happy with them

Chemistry - 3
English (Lit & Comp) - 4
Calc AB - 4

beats last year by a long shot

good job, you should get out of a lot of core classes with that.

hey all,

im not applying for the honors college but im applying to the business school for int'l business. im sending my app fee in tomorrow and having my transcripts down there...is everyone here from alabama? i live in maryland..i was just wondering if there was any one else in the same boat. and yea..the tuition does suck for out of state people but its not as bad as some of the private colleges i've looked at.

i missed the post that one of you were from cali..awesome..at least if i went there there would be people NOT from alabama..im cool with all the bama people i just dont want to be the only outside

I got my acceptance letter today.

No mention of scholarships.

No invitation for honors college. I thought most people that were at or above the requirements were invited?

:(

i'm applying and i'm from maryland. but i should qualify for instate tuition bcuz i'm majoring in interior design and they don't have that in maryland.

i still havnt completed my application because my school is pretty much dead over the summer. once it starts up this week hopefully i will be able to get some transcripts in the mail... how do i send test scores?

if you wanna send sat scores you have to send them directly from collegeboard...you just go to collegeboard and pick out the colleges you want to send your scores to. OR if your taking the sat's this fall you can just include auburn in your list of schools to send the results for. you can have 4 schools in which to send the scores included in the price you pay to take the test but any additional reports are $9.

when i took the sat i put down auburn, but the status on the application said not recieved. now i cant even get into my online application, it might have expired. i will call auburn tomorrow and ask. i see auburn got a new website, nice.

wow im suprised it says not received. i sent my scores and within a few days it said received for test scores. yea..i would def call and ask them whats up with that. did you submit the supplement with your extra-curriculars and personal statements? i mailed mine in but i have no clue if they got it or not..i guess i should call down there too also.

i sent the supplement like a month ago. i cannot log in, still.. yarr!

ok i just called and the lady told me the PIN number is the first 6 digits, not the last four... i guess its been a while since i logged in.
