<p>ahhh! less than 24 hours. even though i'm pretty much an automatic reject because of my stats(1700 SAT, 26 ACT, 4.2 GPA, bland essays, not to mention being from socal), theres a little part of me that believes that somehow, someway, cmc will appreciate my solid leadership experience, year of struggle (i had one year where one bad thing occurred to me/ my family after another, which i explained in my personal statement), hours of community service, passion for the environment as well as my desire to change the earth as we know it and accept the kid who doesn't know how to take tests...Heck, maybe my interviewer really liked me! (I had him laughing the entire time with my ragging wit) But, every time i look at my "numbers" i get really discouraged. Still, if CMC rejects me, I hope Pitzer accepts, and i'll still be a member of the 5-c's (just with horrible financial aid)...I think if i'm rejected i'll transfer because I love CMC that much. </p>

<p>well, i'm in Bangladesh and it's the 26th already...and it happens to be Independence Day here :D...man, waiting for the results is frustrating especially since it's four pm already my time and i know i have so much longer to wait </p>

<p>@ mehhh: hey! i applied to cmc and pitzer too...mostly because i know that cmc won't take me, but you know how you think something awesome might happen...but i like pitzer..would be happy if they took me...</p>

<p>christinawang and mehhh - regarding CMC trying to recruit more international students or your chances being hurt because you're from socal - this is from the CMC website: "Although we seek diversity in the student body, we have no quotas for geographical distribution--and indeed, we have no quotas of any kind." <a href="http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/admission/apply/faq.php%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/admission/apply/faq.php&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>So I wouldn't worry about that aspect. Kind of wish they did, because I am a dual citizen (UK/US) who has lived overseas all my life. I'll be checking at midnight tonight here in the UK to see if I got in! Good luck, everyone.</p>

I am so nervous! I found out today that I was accepted at Scripps but CMC is making me very anxious.</p>

<p>I got a letter here in California. It was thin. I thought I got rejected, but I got waitlisted, which I'm happy about.</p>
