I'm looking for good sites

For self-studying/teaching Physics on a level suitable for AP Physics C?

Khan Academy
Academic Earth
etc.

MIT OCW?

Check out University Physics textbook.

^ The one by Giancoli?

http://www.uccp.org/courses/APPhysicsCI/coursestart.html

You can also view other courses:

[Course Catalog](http://www.uccp.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=56&Itemid=78)

There aren’t instructors for the classes, but the material is free.

Thanks all, these should help.

No .

Wait… smh now I remember the one you’re talking about. My bad.

I used Giancoli and I scored a 5 on the AP. Try Physics for Scientists and Engineers.

Also, Tipler isn’t bad. And the full copy is also available on Google Books. Minus pictures which kind of sucks.

I sadly doubt my school has any of these textbooks, and my parents don’t want to buy textbooks for me…

Yeah, I was gonna recommend UCCP but Wartsandall already did it for me. :D

There are threads about this on PhysicsForums. Google them.

MIT, try this… http://umichbooks.wikispaces.com/Physics

You want Physics 140 for Mechanics, and 240 for E&M (it’s the same book anyway). That’s the book they use at UMich.

how exactly do I open these files?

[I wonder too sometimes](<a href=“http://■■■■■■■.com/3a5h6lw"]I”>LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You)

I got it now. Thanks a lot.

Of course a simple, “Use the Web service to find the correct program” wasn’t a toughie either.

yeah I found it before TCBH posted that. This works really well.

There aren’t any sarcastic do-it-for-the-other-person websites for that.
