I'm losing sleep over this!

hey so I'm applying ED to Dartmouth... very difficult to get into seeing as I'm not a hooked candidate (athletically or with a legacy, anyways). Anyways I'm trying to prepare myself for rejection.

if anyone wants to gauge my chances of admission... I'd much appreciate it

School:
well known prep/past feeder in the northeast, about 1200 total students.

GPA: 3.8 UW
we don't rank. (but def top 10%)

STATS:

SAT1: 2230 (730CR, 750 M, 750W)
SATIIs: Math 2- 750, Bio M- 730, US Hist- 720
APs: Bio- 5, US Hist- 4.

schedule this year:
AP Physics
AP BC Calc 2
AP English
Advanced 4th year Spanish
Etymology (Classical studies)

My extracurrics include a lot of leadership positions (I'm a science coach to prepare kids for the Science Olympiad, an editor for a magazine, etc.) My biggest accomplishment involves using a grant and starting up a new program at my school and actually teaching a subject that I really like... but it's so specific to me that I can't provide any more details before I risk revealing my identity to anyone from my school on this site.

RECs: from biology teacher (an alum to my ED), us history teacher, college counselor

I haven't read the recs, but my CC told me they were very strong.

Here's the potential hook, although I'm not sure if its a hook at all:

I'm passionate about the arts and am submitting a very strong portfolio to all my schools. If an art professor wants me... how does that actually affect my app?

Essays: made my CC laugh. Got them okayed by my counselor and english teacher.

Thanks!!!

Oh, and ethnicity: biracial (eastern indian and caucasian)
both parents are immigrants who went to low-level colleges on scholarships, but have lived the american dream and done very well for themselves. So I'm a first generation american in my family.

let me know if i forgot anything!

bump bumppppppp

You look pretty good, don’t sweat it too much!

You’re a great student, but I think for Dartmouth you have average chances. Maybe like 40% (just guessing) ED there.
We have very similar profiles hehehe :P

honorscentaur: are you ED there also??

^sorry for late response, no I’m not.
I EA’d Chicago, and RD’d Penn, my top choice.
