I'm lost on which business schools to apply too..

Hey CC,
I am currently at GMU's school of business and really want to transfer to a better business school (undergraduate of course). I have completed 42credits with 18more in spring.

I looked over the Top Undergraduate Business Programs 2010 - BusinessWeek for the best business schools.
I'm considering UVA, U South cali, vtech, jmu, U. of Texas. What good business schools can I get into with a 3.53 gpa?

Resume:
College stat(NVCC):
Took 11 credits during summer after HS and transferred them to GMU. Got a 4.0 GPA in calc 2, english, and basic IT class

College Stats(GMU):
University GPA: 3.53 after Fall 10
Extracurriculars: Teach public speaking at Toastmasters, VP of Tennis Club, advertising officer of investment club, entrepreneurs club member.
Work Experience: Worked at Primerica, Apple Federal Credit Union, Tennis coach at Great Falls Swim & Racquet's Club.
Note:
I failed a class (linear algebra) in Fall 09.
In Spring 10, I took 6 credits due to family issues.
Will this affect my chances greatly?
(I have all A's and A-'s except one F and B)

My essay is average, nothing spectacular to be honest. Still working on it!

Just out of curiosity, would it be a good idea in the essay to explain how I went from failing a class to getting a 4.0?

Thanks

Anyone have any suggestions. :)

For UT, I can tell you that your chances are slim. If you look on their site, they have historical data of transfers who get into their business school, and the average is a 3.8-3.9. And GPA is the MAIN thing they want. Below a 3.8 doesn’t happen…
