What?

10 char

i’d hate to see what the grammatical structure of this post was like before you edited it.

lol yea, the use of grammar is pretty bad. let me try and translate:

“i was wondering; can i do an internship or receive voluntary work in Washington DC? i’m graduating this year and I currently have no experience. I’m a mess. thank you.”

here’s sort of an answer: YES! Washington DC is huge and has a TON of companies you could work for.

1) go to your advisor, for your particular focus, and get a list of all the companies that hire in your field.
2) this step kicks ass, GET A LIST OF ALL THE COMPANIES WHO ARE VISITING YOUR SCHOOL FOR THE CAREER FAIR/ENGINEERING CAREER FAIR. They’re annual events. even if you aren’t in college, you can actually still go to the career fairs and talk to the employers. ****, it might actually impress them.
3) if you can’t get a paid internship (maybe you can’t, it depends on your major too), then you have to do volunteer work. Many employers will not turn down free labor. Like i stated above, GET A LIST OF EMPLOYERS.

get the list of employers -> go to each of their websites and check out their internship programs, and where they’re physically located -> filter out the companies that cannot help you or are too far away, etc.

4) take your resume to your career center. there is no way your resume can be good if your grammar is anything similar to what you’ve displayed on here.

(i apologize if english isn’t your first language :D)
