I'm new here and need some guidance

Hiya there potential transfers, current students or wanderers of the web.

So I'm potentially seeking to transfer out of my current institution into another college. I'm just wondering if you think I would have a chance or not to transfer or not. Currently, I'm majoring in Biology but over the summer I've discovered my interests in the chemistry behind food/finding new food resources and naturopathic views. Overall, I want the science of food to become a bigger part for the rest of my life. Anyways without further ado...

Current college: Small, private liberal arts (with heavy stint towards medical sciences)
Entering: Sophomore
Major: Biology (potentially switching to Chemistry or duo Bio/Chem)
High School GPA: 91.9/100 (top 10%)
SAT/ACT: Not required for college applying to
College GPA: 3.03 (I had a really rough time adjusting but it changed from a 2.8 first semester to a 3.3 second and it averaged out?)
Hooks: First generation Chinese American, already have a couple of professors who are well known in their departments.
ECs: Outing Club, GSA Alliance, Debate Club (will be partaking in these during the fall semester as well. Also, I know this isn't a ECs but working three days with my work study)

Please give your input because I know I'll need a lot of it!
:-/

First of all, not sure what is your goal here. Based on your grade, you are not going to med school and you prob know about it.
Second, if you want to transfer do you have some target schools? Will they accept all of your credits? You need to find that out.
Third, because your college Gpa
you are not going to get in a more selective or “better” school, so what is the point?
