<p>hey everyone, i’m a new member of CC. i am an active member of serviceacademyforums.com, where my username is just flyboy. i am a senior in high school and hope to get appointed to usafa for class of 2012!!</p>

<p>yes, i have received my nomination- Rep. Darrell Issa, california, district 49. i am also medically qualified. i originally wanted to attend the USNA, but at the beginning of this year i discovered the USAFA and quickly fell in love with it :). i played football and track during high school, but my passion is aviation-by far (i dont think that can be stressed enough!!). my dream is to graduate USAFA and become a fighter pilot. i know there are many, many challenges i will have to overcome, but i am excited to encounter them. the first one being accepted, and one of the most important being qualified to receive PRK for my eyes. All i can say is that i really hope i get into usafa.</p>

<p>i think it's hilarious when i tell people i intend to go to school there, and they say something like, "that's great. you can even transfer to the xxxbranch after graduation" in all seriousness.</p>
<p>cdk, i go to a little tiny charter high school in east county :). because of its uniqueness and size, i'm reticent to post the name of the school. hornetguy's scared me.</p>
