Maria, you will get into Johnson and Wales. There is a guy from this area that goes there and from what I have heard he likes it. Good luck!

I like the St Johns College suggestion - they take almost everyone who applies and you would get an incredible education without the pressure of grades - you’d almost have to go on to Grad School, but after 4 years at St Johns you’d be totally prepared, and I’ve found that people are incredible impressed by a St Johns College degree. You’d definitely feel like a genius after that experience!

Try Princeton.

You can also look into Rider, Adelphi, and maybe Manhattan College. Also, Le Moyne in NY, Widner in PA, and Suffolk in Boston might be some to look into. We don’t know your SAT/ACT scores though.

im waiting to receive my Nov 3rd scores..i think i did alright.

poi, i really like johnson & wales. i applied to the providence campus.the majors offered are great, and i’ve visited rhode island before & i absolutely love it there.

Maria, how about the University of New Haven?

Check out Thomas College. It’s right in my town and i’m taking a class there. They guarantee job placement. You’d get in there.

Top 30 LACs could be seen as reaches for you.

i wanted to apply to Pace…what are my chances?

ive heard pace is pretty easy and thers a slight chance you can get in
if you live in jersey try seton hall

i went to a college fair, which had on-site admissions..and i got into Norfolk State; im not sure i wanna go there though but whatever…if i dont go anywhere else i will prob go there

There are many colleges that would be happy to have you. You seem to be on an upward trend with your grades and that will help you. Would you consider any schools in the mid-west? Go on to the college board site and use the college match program they have. That should help you find some matches. If you come up with any specific colleges, post those and other CCers will tell you what they know about them. Good luck and don’t give up.

Someone said i should apply to U. of New Haven…but isnt New Haven like
a reallyyyy ugly place??I really dont mind whether the college is urban,or rural, etc…but umm as long as the area isnt too bad,im good lol

how about robert morris u.??

Love at Chatham College in PA: good fine arts programs and English programs w/education certification available. Nice doors and exchange programs with other colleges in the area. I have a friend who majored in English, w/edu. cert and later went on to law school, all with a Chatham degree.
