So I'm a rising senior in a Florida IB school. I want to go out of state - NYU, Columbia, or Barnard ideally but I'm also seriously considering places like UGA, UF, and Ole Miss. If someone could just "chance" me or what the term is on here (I'm still new haha), I would really appreciate it!!!!!!!
I have 29 composite ACT score, which I plan to get up to a 32 in September.
My SAT II scores were weak so I plan to take those again. Those should definitely be in the 700s to be helpful, right? (Are they necessary for NYU Tisch???)
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.95
Weighted GPA - 5.8 ish
My APs are decent - still waiting on APUSH&Lang
I have the hardest possible course load (All IB and AP classes). I have customized it to show focus on the arts - taking specialized Art, History, and English classes.

Extracurriculars: Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, National Honor Society, Yearbook (Editor-in-Chief), Newspaper (Editor), tb-two* which is a teen-run local newspaper distributed to over 40 high schools every week (Lead Music Critic, Editor-In-Chief), art classes

Job/Work Experience: Marketing Assistant/Kept inventory etc. for a local bakery for 2yrs, working in the Tampa Bay Times (nationally acclaimed newspaper) offices for tb-two*

Volunteer/Community service: Pre-Kindergarten summer program teacher, FightSMA spokesperson, went to capitol hill for many years lobbying a bill for fightSMA etc., wrote a childrens book to promote childhood involvement in the arts, volunteered at a grassroots Music Festival that is now going on it's third year, shadowed various music industry people on the job.

I'm a strong writer, so my essays should be good.
Recs will be great, too.

THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!!!
