I think this is a pretty complete list.

So I haven't really cared much for high school last 3 years and as a result, my GPA is kind of low for the colleges I'm aiming at. I think I can get straight A's next year.

My recommendations will be solid, but not spectacular, and I think my essay will be pretty good.

I plan to major in Econ or Applied Math.

My College List: (with my own guesses)
1 Cornell U
2 Duke U
3 Columbia U Fu Found.
4 Northwestern U IL
5 MIT
6 Washington U St. L.
7 U Virginia
8 Vanderbilt U
9 Johns Hopkins U
10 U Chicago
11 Carnegie Mellon U
12 New York U
13 U Michigan
14 Case Western Res. U
15 Rutgers NB/Pscataway

Reach: Duke, MIT, WashU
Lower Reach: Cornell, Columbia Fu Foundation (acceptance rate 28%), Northwestern, UVirginia (OOS), Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, UChicago
Safe Match: Carnegie Mellon, NYU, UMich (OOS)
Safety: Case, Rutgers (in-state)

I know there's a lot of schools, but I don't have too much to do this summer besides work, and the way I see it, college admissions are a lot of luck and maybe I can get into one of my reaches.

Thanks =)

MIT Large Reach
Duke Medium Reach
Columbia Reach
Cornell (Engineering, CAS) Reach, Lower Reach (Not exactly much of a difference, though)
Northwestern Reach
JHU Reach
UChicago Reach
CMU: Match
NYU: Match
Quite frankly your UW GPA is a little low.

Michigan is not a safe match with that UW GPA. It's actually a slight reach. Public schools are very GPA-driven, and if your UW is that low, your UM GPA is likely low as well. It's admissions are much more difficult than NYU's for OOSers.

Thanks..

Anyone else?

bump

Grades are declining too :( But I think I can get straight As next year

"Pokeman? Pokeman is the pokey on the man where the guy comes out with a bang..."

Pokeman! You know, like Pokemon.

a 66/10 on writing was really a 720? I got the same thing in march '05 and i got a 680

Yea..I took it in January.

wow, i guess i took the wrong test haha

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

The oldest joke in history:

Student: Can I go to the bathroom? I have to pee bad.
Teacher: Not until you say the ABCs one more time.
Student: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOQRSTUVWXYZ
Teacher: You left out the "P". Where's the "P"?
Student: It's running down my pants.

Haha. I'm hilarious

LOL give it up tim, we will be spending four more years together at Rutgers, the teachers at WWPHSS made sure of that

If your high school has grade deflation, as some excellent public schools in NJ do, then you can be more optimistic, especially when applying to schools that take deflation into account. Your standardized test scores are really good.

LOL piray you're so gay you stalker
