I'm not getting in directly from high school, but....

Hey guys,

I know for sure that I'm not going to get into UVA directly from high school, unless I get EXTREMELY lucky, so I was wondering how hard is it to transfer into UVA? Some schools, like UNC, are tough on OOS from high school, but don't factor state residence for transfers, so is UVA like that, or is it still impossible to get in as an OOS transfer as well?

[IAS Historical Data: Undergraduate Transfer Applicants by Residency](http://www.web.virginia.edu/IAAS/data_catalog/institutional/historical/admission/trans_by_residency.htm)

so I’m guessing it’s relatively easy to get in transfer to UVA from that data?

Actually, its pretty much the same as if you were applying out of high school. 40% instate 30% out of state.
