I'm not interested in anything

I just graduated from college and realized I don't give nine craps about my major. It would not meld with me as a career. I have thought about what else I could do with my life, but can't think of anything. I am applying to graduate school in some field that I have no interest in because I don't know what else to do.

LOL

Soooo …

…

…

Thoughts?

This is not a unique situation by any means. Maybe you should apply to Grad school in something you DO have an interest in. That way, the next time you graduate, you won’t feel the same way you do now. That’s what I’m doing! lol. Good luck.

That’s the problem. I’m not interested in anything.

LOL!

stillearning, learn you will. But become wise you will not. Have a cup of cheese.

You’re obviously interested in being a ■■■■■. Good luck with that, wise one. I see great things in your future (read it in my cup of cheese).

Join the military. You can become an officer in any of the branches. Pick the MOS that seems most attractive to you.

what do you do in your free time

you could be a professional college confidential poster

hey hey, I heard burger king’s recruiting for a full-time burger flipper. Interested?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I never asked for any.

I’ll be master of the universe in a few years. I’m sure I’ll have my hands full by then.

sounds like you could use some time to reflect; I highly recommend the peace corps

but seriously, do something different

be a vagabond, go homeless for a season, train hop, backpack in Europe, pursue some ladies (not so different, but may give some direction), teach for a year in a foreign country, take some time off to know yourself

my 2 cents

DC Hurricane, actually if they are not physically fit then its hard to join the military now. Alot of people are joining/joined that it’s pretty hard to be in the armed forces now. So I wouldn’t exactly say that.

Jim, who said I wasn’t physically fit? My fastest mile is a 5:37.

I’ve been thinking of travelling the world, but I’m not sure how far this will help with regards to increasing my desire to fulfill some goal.

I’m just saying since you never know who would or who would not be physically fit on a forum. Then if I were you I’d go into the military and try going into OCS after you finish Basic. Alot of opportunities afterwards also and a stable job.

If you have a college degree, you should apply directly for OCS. Don’t just enlist and hope for the best. I have a sibling who’s gone through this twice (broke a leg in the second-to-last week of OCS the first time around) and lots of friends who were enlisted first and then officers later and highly, highly, highly recommended I not do that when I was going through the same thing that the OP is.

Technically, I’m still going through what he is, but I did ultimately decide that the military is not for me (for one thing, the last time I ran a full mile was in high school).

This topic is old but I am interested in what you’re doing now. I’m an undergraduate student in college and I don’t know what I’m doing -_-.

try to attain higher studies and be serious for your future opportunities…!!!
