Hello,
I'm in my junior year, but it seems like the end of my childhood is sneaking up on me. I have to make all of these decisions about where to go, etc. that will affect me for the rest of my life, but I've been procrastinating about finding out what I want to do, what school I want to go to, etc. I want to stay a kid for the rest of my life because I don't feel like dealing with this, but I know I have to. Can I possibly get some details about picking out a engineering major?

The first decision you should make is if engineering is right for you or not. If so, then try going through this website:

The Sloan Career Cornerstone Center

It has descriptions, interviews with people in the field, etc about each of the engineering disciplines. If you have more specific questions, there are plenty of knowledgeable people on this board here from each of the major engineering fields who can answer them.

Oh, and just because you pick engineering now doesn't mean you're locked into it for the next 50 years. You can always change majors while in college, and even if you graduate with an engineering degree, you still have many non-engineering job opportunities.

engineering firms need a wide variety of people. Just because your doing engineering dosn't mean you have to have a designing job.

^ thats a good website BTW. Thanks for posting it.
