<p>Make it an essay if you can articulately describe how it’s important to you. Don’t list it under “awards” or anything; that just looks silly in my opinion.</p>
<p>It’s a school level award but if there were a state wide contest for digits of PI, it would be a state championship, too! I think it is cool and that adcoms would find it interesting in a quirky smart way.</p>

<p>Haha, brilliant. At my school they have a contest like that as well, but we have to memorize the first 250 or so verses of the Odyssey in the original Greek. Whoever gets it completely right, gets 100 euros. The last person who won graduated like 15 years ago.</p>

<p>Put it somewhere in your application- it shows you have a good memory and that can help a kid be successful academically. I don’t think it could possibly hurt your chances at all.</p>
