Hello i'm a current junior and i want to study in UK but i'm not sure what to do.I am very interested in chemestry and i would love to do a chemestry and forensic science course and then to get a job in forensic sciences.
On the other hand i'm thinking to do a fashion communication course because fashion it's like a hobby to me. So if you have a opinion about this, any advice is welcome. Thank you!

*Chemistry
If you are undecided on what you want to study, a UK university would not be a good option for you because I believe you go in with a decided concentration and focus solely on it for three years. Not a lot of exploration time. It depends on the university, though.

Seconding AmaranthineD. Stay in the US until you decide absolutely what you want to do. If you apply to study chemistry in the UK you will only ever take chemistry and related science/math courses for your entire university experience. Similarly, if you study fashion communication (really?) you will study fashion fashion fashion for three years. The only variation is that some unis (esp in Scotland) will let you move around a little, say from chemistry to biochemistry. Definitely not from chemistry to fashion design.

I agree with what other posters have said. You should reconsider your choice to study fashion communication. Go to UNISTATS, a website by the UK government that shows acceptance rates, average salary, etc for each course.

You’ll see that in some fashion courses, over 85% of people are in non-graduate level jobs earn greatly below the average graduate salary.

Thank you very much!
