I'm Not Sure Which SAT Language Test to Take

Hi everyone! I'm in a quandary about what SAT language test I should take, and I wanted to ask you guys for advice!

I really love learning foreign languages and cultures and I wanted to show my strength in foreign language by taking a SAT Subject Test in it. I'm planning to take it in June of 2015. However, I'm not quite sure which one I should take:

Spanish: I took Spanish I + II in 7th and 8th grade (currently a junior) and I liked it (then). I think I retained a lot of the basic language, but I obviously need to work on the grammar and translating to compensate for the time since I've taken Spanish. My friend gave me a thick review book called "The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice" book and it seems very helpful for the grammar.

-Latin: I took Latin I online in freshman year, II in sophmore year, and AP this year (skipped III). Although this one seems like the one I should study, I've realized I'm really bad at Latin (never memorized declensions and stuff) in general. I don't really know how to study for this, either, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of online resources for this language.

French: I just started to learn this language for fun over the summer and I LOVE French. I like studying vocabulary, but I guess my weakness would be grammar. This is probably not a likely option, but just wondering :)

I'd love to hear any feedback! Thank you for reading! :)

It makes the most sense to take Latin, as you are the most advanced in that language.

You don’t sound well prepared for any of them, honestly.

I agree with intparent. Foreign language SAT scores are skewed by heritage speakers, putting you at a further disadvantage.

Well… there probably aren’t any heritage speakers for the Latin test. But if you don’t think you are great at it, then don’t do it.

True, and yet the College Board still breaks it out as a separate category
