I'm on the edge, is it worth applying?

So I’m in my senior year of high school and I am in the middle of applications. I’ve looked at the averages of Boston University and well, do you guys think it is worth applying based on my classes, GPA, SAT, and EC’s? Here they are…

GPA (UW): 92.02
GPA (W): 96.67
SAT I: 1770 (Math 610, Writing 610, CR 540)
AP Classes: AP Biology, AP United States History, AP Chemistry, AP Literature & Composition, AP Calculus AB, and AP Statistics. The majority of my other classes (w/o counting required CP’s are all ADV or HON).
EC’s: Cross Country (1 year), Varsity TennisPlayer and Varsity Tennis Captain (All-Star Award and Sportsmanship Award, both state awards) (2 years) , Newspaper Writer/Editor (1 year), I nteract Member (1 year). 200+ Hours community service at local YCSA (service association) thrift store, I’ve organized multiple projects and coordinated several events for this service. Also I’ve put in a total of 40+ at a nature camp that helped took children put them into the natural environments around them. I’m also part of the Spanish National Honors Society (Language Award for 93 average grade in Spanish V).

This is just a compressed form of my application, but what do you guys think?

@MarktheGreat‌ APPPLY!

There is only one way to guarantee that you don’t get in… Don’t apply! If you think you would like to go there then there is no reason not to apply.

Yes! Show lots and lots of interest, BU loves a student who loves them…

Meet when a recruiter comes to your school, go again to any local open houses, visit capus at least 2 times ( meet with the dean of the college of your choice, student enrolled, mayeb do a night over…

IF you have not done all that, your chances are 50/50 if you apply, 0% if you don’t

Good luck
