I live in NY, so I have done NYSSMA for cello for many years, and I plan to do NYSSMA for piano. I am first chair in my chamber orchestra at school.

I normally receive an average of 96-98. I most likely get in the top 10% of my class, if not the top ten. I have not taken the SAT. I have only taken the PSAT and haven't yet gotten back my score.

I expect to get an SAT score of at least over 2000, and an ACT score of at least 32.
I have only taken an SAT II in Chemistry freshman year, without taking AP Chem, and I received a 690, which was probably the highest in my grade. ;P

For my essays, I believe I can excel in, so that I am not too worried about.

I love chemistry, so I'll probably do something with chemical engineering, food science, biochemistry, pharmacy... :D

What colleges do you think is about my level? Does Cornell seem too high? I know it's probably very difficult to tell since I'm only a sophomore.
Thank you!!! :D

to be honest we can’t tell you…your test scores are gonna change and your grades will be all over the place…and you probably have no idea how finances are gonna play out for you

i started out thinking cornell or BU or puget sound…and now im going to either UCSB or alabama

so chill out (i can tell youre anxious), and enjoy life and get educated about the college admissions process…learn about financial aid and keep looking for colleges! there thousands upon thousands out there…

Aw thanks! I thought it was worth a shot just putting it out there, though.

when youre a junior, i think youll have a better picture of how it’ll all work out :)

Yeah, hopefully. I’m so tired of high school already. I wish I already was a junior.
