I'm pretty worried! Will I get into UC Riverside?

UC GPA: 3.5 (weighted)
SAT: 1850
My ECs are pretty average to be honest.
I have a strong upward trend and a good personal statement that explains why: 3.0 gpa sophomore year and 3.9 GPA junior year.

Although unfortunately, ive heard that ucr doesn't read personal statements?

nigeriankid:
I think it depends upon your major. Your GPA is a little low but I think you have a decent chance for most majors. Engineering may be a stretch. Just make sure you have a few backups.

I applied undecided for humanities

I think that you have a pretty good chance of getting in. Good luck!

You will get in. they accept like 70% of applicants and the average sat is like 1550.

Here’s a link for the actual stats for the 2013 Freshmen class

Good luck!

Assuming you haven’t already received your notification, I think you have a good chance. My stats are about the same as your’s, minus the upward trend, and I didn’t do a lot of extracurriculars either, but I just received my acceptance notification a few days ago. :)

Kuurei, you have just given me some hope lol  Thank you!
