I'm probably alone in this idea..

Okay so honestly, am I the only one that is deeply scared by technology. Like it won't stop evolving and its really worrisome.

Technology takes over our communication, education, and basically daily lives.

I wish things were like the early 2000s

Where we used technology, but not obsessively like now.

Texting scares the hell out of me, and I hate it. I mean it takes all the emotion out of the communication with another person. There is no connection...You don't know how another person is feeling and people can hide that emotion through fake little smiles, but you don't even know if they are genuine or not.

Another thing are the freaking social networks. I like them and all, but the only thing they have become is a way to make people make their lives seem perfect to others. GRR! I guess thats my own deep inside hate of facebook though talking because I honestly hate the site, and I feel its destroying the world.

The only reason I have one is because I go to boarding school and its the only way I can stay in constant contact with my friends n family baack home.
Other than that, the site is useless.

Honestly, would we all be using technology if everyone else was not using it?

What if we started a movement, where we slowly stop using AS MUCH technology.

Technology is good for somethings, but for everyday life...no

I think it contributes to obesity too...

INstead of people wanting to play sports...

They want to make believe they are perfect by playing someone else in a sport.

......We better watch out....

Or we will all become mindless day dreaming robots.

I wholehearted agree. Soon we’ll be so socially awkward from interacting through technology that we won’t even be able to say “hi” to each other in person.

Isn’t life a dream? Technology that very thing that human seek to perfect, well ruin us all… Maybe, but evolution is golden. This is nothing more then a phrase imo. Take the wii and kincet/move for examples trying to break away from the whole scaring at the tv laying in ur bed habits. With phone like the black berry keeping people walking instead of laptop. Think of the cons and pros.

Technology is taking away a lot of people’s jobs if you think about it.

In total agreement… but computers, phones, etc. are too helpful (read: I’m too lazy to write things by hand, and I’d rather not paw through books to find a single fact) for me to willingly give up.

4 true but there aren’t enough people to manage the newer technology if you think about it and that is the problem. Not enough people got some types of degrees in science/technology.

I’m more worried that technology will take away all the tasks we can do cooking, cleaning, driving. As well as take away all the jobs. So then we will all lead meaningless existences of watching TV and working as builders of new machines.

I for one accept our new robotic overlords.
