<p>Is anyone else having a hell of a time with chem here? Like the tests are just insane and the smartness of everyone else in the class is not helping out my grade. I use to be so good at chem in h.s. and I get here wanting to be a chem major and here I am now, questioning whether or not chem is for me or if I even want to do it anymore/like it.</p>
<p>Yeah, chem is hard. I've heard Duke usually has less than 10 chem majors in every graduating class.
Don't do anything crazy now though, at least finish out the spring and see how you feel about it then.
Also, not all chem classes are as crazy as orgo.</p>

I know. There's people in my dorm that started studying for the exam the night before and aced the exam. :mad: :(</p>
<p>Anyway, you can't have done that poorly on the exam- you knew more a lot more of the material than I did the night before.</p>
<p>I scored around 20 pts below the mean, as on the last exam as well. See, even tho I feel like I know the material really well, his tests really get to me...:(</p>
<p>Well, I heard p-chem is much harder than orgo, but after that, it's not that bad. Also, did they offer you the option to transfer to 23 this year?</p>
