I'm Proud of Trinity's Commitment to Community

Take a look at the wonderful work Trinity College is doing to bridge the digital divide in the struggling neighborhood near the school:

Trinity College

This provides real life learning and community service for Trinity students and really makes a difference in the lives of Hartford's less fortunate.

I just attended Trinity’s 52nd annual Christmas Lessons and Carols celebration in the magnificent collegiate gothic chapel. What a gift to the greater Hartford community! The choir and chapel singers were heavenly, the organ was superbly played by the college organist, the carillon was charming, and the student musicians were very talented. Kudos to the the college for welcoming the community to the event. What a nice touch to have the free will offering to benefit the Hartford Symphony children’s “orchestra zoo” to inspire the next generation of Hartford musicians. This was a good example of Trinity being a good neighbor.

Agree^. I did a lot of community service in local schools in Hartford. I think students have even more opportunities to tutor with the new Learning Corridor magnet schools across the street now.
