Emory hasn't given me any financial aid info yet, but there is a good possibility I could go cheap.

However, I was just told I got the LA Legislator Scholarship to Tulane..which is full free tuition for the year (usually it renews so basically a full ride), plus I get the Val scholarship and in other words I'd go for free for 4 years.

Anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?

Oh I dunno if it matters any but I have reasons to go to both…but I was thinking of a possible business related field, and Emory has Tulane beat by a lot.

And I need to know very soon btw. They want me to come finish the thing tomorrow.

I can’t get it any faster, unfortunately. I check constantly. I know I like both schools and the only thing I would regret is basically loss of prestige. I’m a bit of a prestige whore.

Although rank 18 to rank 50~ isn’t terrible in my opinion.

I’ve also lived in LA almost my entire life so eh :

Yeah but Tulane is a very very good place. I don’t think paying for Emory is worth more than full ride over Tulane. I would opt for Tulane and get away from grad school ;-)

hmm.
well, wait for the finaid decision from Emory, AND if it’s less than Tulane, use Tulane’s full-scholarship entices to make Emory reconsider and give you more mullah That way, you get to go to college for free AND be at your dream school!

E2013 – If it makes any difference, Tulane is bound to rise in the USNWR rankings next year when the fall 2008 record numbers are taken into account (27 percent acceptance rate, 1365 average SAT and 31 ACT). According to the Collegeboard site, these numbers are better than many schools in the current top 50 (including Wake Forest). Remember, Tulane’s current rank is a Katrina induced. This year’s numbers are estimated to be 1400 average SAT, 40,000 applications, and an acceptance rate of 22 percent.
