I'm really wondering about this?

I was wondering if 100% boarding schools have snow days? I'm just really curious about this and i was wondering about it recently because of the snow

The schools with a high % boarding and most of the faculty on campus do not have snow days. For example, Blair with around 80% boarding did not have snow days. Travel sports are cancelled.

There was just an article in the Exonian about this issue (Exeter didn’t call a snow day, though some teachers canceled classes.) A dean said that in his 20+ years at Exeter, he could count on one hand (and not use all the fingers) days that school was cancelled for weather reasons. For exactly the reason Burb gave…he pointed out that the bs’s that cancel for snow tend to be schools with a higher percent of day students than Exeter or Andover.

Concord, NH just received 18+ inches of snow and no snow days for St. Paul’s. Snow days are very, very, very rare.

Thanks for the info
