Who's thinking of applying to GSU this year?

haha, I replied on your other thread too.

I’ve already applied to GSU early… and I’m not worried about getting in at all (lol, but seriously). I’ve been considering GSU, but I’m afraid I’d absolutely hate it there because of all the “ghetto-ness”. But I don’t know if I’d enjoy UGA too much either. Ugh. Decisions, decisions… for real.

I’ve applied and been accepted, but I’m worried about the “ghetto-ness” Mevans414 is talking about - I would end up really hating a ghetto school because that is not me at all, I just wouldn’t fit in.

lmao AnonymousMouse, I’m glad we’re on the same page.

I remember seeing your name on the UGA college confidential site :P

what’s all this “ghetto-ness” you guys are talking about?

This perception of “ghetto-ness” is crap.

Lol, I don’t know what those two are talking about. I’m thinking about UGA, Kennesaw State University and Georgia State University. But I’m not worried about “the ghetto-ness” or danger because there is good and bad people everywhere. I’m just worried about A+/A-, cost, and location. I like the city (Atlanta), but I’m worried that I won’t have the traditional university experience (commuters), and that the campus is scattered. I haven’t been to UGA, so I can’t say nothing about that. I kind of don’t want to go to KSU because it’s also a commuter school, and all of my friends are going there. It’s also not well recognized and few ec activities. But I do like KSU doesn’t do that A+/A- crap. I’m also thinking about Berry College. It’s a tough decision.

Most colleges do the A-/A+ thing. The campus of GSU is not scattered everything is in a center location. GSU and KSU are both slowly losing their commuter image it is just something that will take time. Berry is great but is in the middle of no where. That and it probably costs more.
