This Monday, juniors take their senior yearbook photos and I'm nervous I will look bad on mines. Every year in my class photo I end up with a messed up face. Freshmen year I looked drunk, Sophomore year I looked surprised, and Junior year I looked sleepy with my eyes half shut and a wide smile. Who knows how I may look this time. Anyway the other concern is that I look way different in photos, and I mean that in a bad way. I look great in person, bad in print. I'm just not photogenic, and it sucks. Anyway, do you guys think I'm overreacting? Because I don't want to open my yearbook and be like "what the hell happened to my face!?"

haha u actually care?
fails

yea I care, that thing follows you for life. Who wants a last memory of you to look like your high.

Who the hell looks high unless they are high, more or less?

Stop smoking the reefer and you’ll be fine.

Well err I get nervous sometimes before pictures like these but they seem to come out okay. All I can say is practice your smile in front of the mirror the day before…

Better than being really photogenic but fugly as hell in person, imo.

If you want, you can try posing in front of a mirror until you feel naturally inclined towards a photogenic picture and comfortable with your look, taking into account elements like lighting and posture and such.

Also, it helps to not blink lol. Looking drunk/high/sleepy in a picture are almost always a result of blinking early.

“Better than being really photogenic but fugly as hell in person, imo.”
This, although now that people facebook stalk much more often, it starts to suck not being photogenic.

Don’t you guys do senior photos though? Like outside of the school that you can send in?

lol our photographer man was very awkward and slightly too open

but w/e in the end, i didn’t see any ugly senior photos. some people chose to pose in slightly weird ways, but all in all everyone looked great! don’t worry- you’ll be fine! =D
