Hi all, I want to transfer to UC Davis in the fall of 2020, but I am really scared I won’t get in. After 2 semesters, I have 3.1 GPA which means I can’t TAG. More A’s, but also some C’s. I want to major in general biology but again, I am afraid I won’t get in. Is there any hope for me? UC Davis is my dream school. Thank you!
First of all, I would post in the UC Transfer Forum: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/
Here is a link with the UC transfer GPA by major and campus for 2018. New 2019 data will probably not be out until January 2020, but this will help gauge your chances. Biology is a selective major it will be tough for UCD but you can TAG to UCR or UCSC for solid backups.

Admit Transfer GPA range for 2018 in Biological Sciences was 3.29-3.77. Are you taking any summer courses that will bump up your GPA? Also, you will submit a TAU (Transfer admission update) with your Fall grades in January 2020 which could boost your GPA for consideration.
