I'm Shmacked - good or bad?(Michigan party documentary)

What do you guys think of this? Good for UofM or embarrassing? I'm torn.

I'm Shmacked The Movie : University of Michigan - Welcome Week (2012) - YouTube

NSFW music btw.

First of all. I think that video makes the university look like crap and I am happy those type of students are a small part of it and easily avoidable. No one wants to deal with the stuck up rich arrogant frat ******.

Second of all, your link includes a playlist to your favorite videos. On that note, I also find Alex Morgan extremely attractive. Everyone does.

I’m currently in my freshmen year of Michigan. Before coming here I didn’t have the chance to visit, and a previous I’m Shmacked video taken at the university kind of worried me and made me hesitant to come here. So to me, the video isn’t good for promoting Michigan. But I’m glad that as ThisIsMichigan said, those kind of students are easily avoidable and I haven’t met anyone rude to me  Everyone’s being very friendly and welcoming!

Lol, don’t know why it would link to my liked videos. Alex Morgan is the **** though.

Easy access in your favorite videos I see…

… wink…

This video only samples a small part of Michigan, true, but a part that is very typical on a college campus, especially a large, public school. Parties like this can be found at just about any school with a medium or larger student body, so I don’t think it reflects either positively or negatively on the university – it just shows people what they should already know exists here. Anyone who isn’t aware that crazy partying happens at UMich is naive.

I saw the guy with the stack of 20s and the first thing I thought of was “drug dealer”.

I don’t think it reflects on the U one way or the other. This is how ppl in that age group behave, especially when they’re overworked. They’re having a good time and harming no one, big deal. Anyone with a problem with it needs to lighten up.

If you don’t go to Michigan, you’re a peasant.

But in all reality, Michigan is a great school academically, and partying occurs to blow off steam. Every college has big parties, at Michigan the parties are just bigger and better. Even if you don’t like to party, the amount of social activities that are present is ridiculous and everyone can find their own niche.
