I'm signed up for the Nov. SAT II, but I think I'll have to take the SAT I instead (since today's really really sucked!). Do I have to change it online, make a phone call, or can I just change it at the test center? Thanks!

hey--

i did the same thing today. first i called college board and they told me just to go to the test center and start as a stand by. they said they will send me the bill later, which will probably be outrageous. so just go to the center; they'll have plenty of extra tests for you.

When I go to the test center, I can just tell them that I want to take the SAT I and not the SAT II?

There's an extra fee for stand-by testing? Corporate bastards...

KRabble88 and cjsb0160,

Stand-by is not guaranteed. It depends on if there's available room. So if you really want to take the SAT I in November, you should change or register late online to make sure you get a spot. Good luck.

i was a standby today and the room they put me in had 5 kids that didnt show up

get there early and you are in, especially if you go to a big school

My school is pretty big, and I'm fairly certain that I can grab a spot, but I'm already signed up for the SAT II, so if worst comes to worst, I'll just take that instead. It really all depends on what I get on this Oct. test. crosses fingers I'll end up studying for Math 2 anyway, I guess..

So even if I'm registered for the SAT II and want to take the SAT I, I'll have to be a stand-by test taker?
