kat- thrift stores are often arranged just like department stores. the only major difference is the clothes are used and the store is a little dirtier than a macy's. besides places like salvation army, goodwill, and savers, there are also places that are extremely popular among the college set because they only sell brand name/gently used clothes or unique one of a kind shirts. those places are generally smaller and have a more of a boutique atmosphere. they are also more expensive. sometimes at goodwill, it smells. :( it's a good place to get some clothes you plan on ripping up/bleaching/sewing random buttons on.

u dont want to go to a thrift store...they are scary :-X

that's what makes them fun! maybe i should have written my essay about thrift stores...

I can't sew, either. ::meep:: It's on the list of "Things Kat Must Learn Before She Goes to College" that my mum plans to teach me over the summer, right between doing laundry and using public transportation. Yes, I am a sheltered little girl.

I promised a friend of mine I'd get into DDR in college. Hmm...shrek, you may have to help me out on that one.

LOL! I can't use public transportation or do laundry. and it's okay, I only know how to sew on buttons.

ummm....kevin's list...

1) ironing
2) laundry...yea...
3) cooking...or else ill eat a lotta ramen
what else? ahh!

Phil if you can get onto AIM I can show you something tight :)

phil - i am the DDR master!

hao - public transportation is gross....i dont think scottsdale even has public transportation...if it did no one would use it haha =P

Shrek: Care to challenge me to a DDR battle?

LOL...contrary to popular belief, Scottsdale does have public transportation...there ARE poor people in Scottsdale, I just don't know where they're hiding.

oh dear me dear me! a challenger?! and how are we gonna carry out this duel? e-ddr?! well i will need some e-tequila and e-cookies to carry this duel out =P

poor people?! where?! where?! i dont see them =P our principal claims there are poor people at my school....hmm yea cuz the most common car is bmw and the cheapest is a honda civic (which there are only 3)...

all the poor people live by coronado =P

That's.... horrible... and horribly funny. ;)

There's no public transportation in the suburb where I live, and I am expressedly forbidden to venture into Detroit much less use its public transportation... so... my experience with it has been limited.

Dude, this sucks. My AIM isn't working very well tonight, if you couldn't already tell. Once I fix my wireless, I want to see it!

And we'll see, shrek. This one sophomore at my school is out-of-this-world good, so we'll have to see how you measure up. He was my maestro for a couple of months last semester, but then I threw up my hands in frustration. Regular dancing I'm just fine at, but this DDR stuff is cuh-RAzy.

I'm sending Shrek a video of me doing Paranoia Survivor Max on Challenge mode 1.3x arrow rate 2x speed :) That should be fun.

haha the only time ive been on public transportation was europe and asia =P, oh and NYC we took a taxi haha

Do taxis count as public transportation?

only 3 honda civics? those people must feel horribly stigmatized.

yea definitely.....but they are still really wealthy (i know all 3) they have nicer weekend cars =P hahahaha wow i think that sounded really bad

yea i think taxis count as public transportation? we dont even have taxis here...well u can call a taxi company and get one....
