<p>Hey everybody and thank you for helping me out! I am very confused as to the difference between EC awards and academic honors. In addition, where do we put the titles for the ECs we are in? If we run out of room for academic honors, do we put that in the additional info page as a document or on the white blank box?</p>

<p>On the MIT app, ECs and academic honors are distinguished as “scholastic” vs. “non-scholastic distinctions”, so the article was an attempt by an admisison officer to clarify the difference.</p>
