This whole waiting business is exciting. I've applied to several Ivys and Stanford. I remember thinking that I really wanted to go to one of those schools. Over the past several months I've realized that those schools are definitely reach, reach schools. I have focused on the schools that have already accepted me. I'm happy because UCLA has accepted me. UCLA is a good match school for me. If by some chance I get accepted to one of the Ivys/Stanford then I will re-evaluate my decision. If I don't, I will be very happy with UCLA. Hey, I may still go there even if I'm accepted at an Ivy. To those of you waiting, look at the schools you've been accepted to and pick one that you'd be happy at. Be happy with your choices you have now. The rejections from any other school won't be as bad and you can get over it. Any acceptances will be a big plus. Good luck to all!

Woo! I’m glad you’ve found a great school! I’m in a similar position. I applied to HYPS etc, and YPS are tied for my top choice. However, I got likely letters from Rice and Columbia, both of which I absolutely adore, so I will be completely content even if I am accepted nowhere else. At the end of the day, I’m just looking forward to COLLEGE, wherever that may be. :D
