I'm so mad about my grades. Anyone else?

what the hell, do you go to LHS?
chill the f out. honestly.

and on top of all that whining, you have definitely arbitrarily made up your averages for Phys. Ed and Science Research.

and LHS doesn't have A+'s

who are you trying to fool honey?

i am mad about my grade, too.

Those are really great grades..I'm mad at my grades but it's my own fault....
English 3(hn)- F
Spanish 1 - B
Music Theory- A
Band - A
This is my easy semester but I refuse to do any Eng. 3 Essays because she gives more work than the Ap Eng. 3 class gets, so yeah...

i heard that collleges dont see a difference btwn A's and B's (in honors classes) and it totally depends on the school- like in my school grades in AP are highly inflated, so even the slacker chick who doesnt even work half as much as i do, gets a B/B+ final grade.

Don't listen to the people telling you it's okay. They are just saying that because they did even worse then you and they are trying to comfort themselves. Your grades aren't "bad". But mostly everyone with goals to go to a good college is doing better. So just work really hard. Ask for extra credit, and do better next time. If you care this much I'm sure you'll do okay. Remember the long run.

wtH...........

Join the club of bummer B+'s: an 89.9 in Honors English and an 89.6 in Honors Earth Science (non weighted)

Yes, their horrible grades. B+ is just...undescribable. My GOODNESS!!!

I know how you feel; I got 3 B's in my first quarter when I was a junior, but that's probably because I was adjusting to the increased difficulty of my classes. Don't worry, though, I'm pretty sure the colleges would understand. Besides, you have the whole school year ahead of you to improve, and colleges like to see positive grade trends. ;)

Get a grip.

To the OP...Wow!

I can't imagine getting grades like yours! Never in my life have I ever had more than 3 A's on a report card!

My progress report came today:

Gym: B-
Honors English 11: A
Theater: No grade is given, but says my effort is good
Honors physics: C
Honors US History: B+
Honors Algebra 2: F

The only grade that I'm unhappy about is physics. I want a B in that class. If I can get that, I'll be good, especially since I suck at math.

You might be wondering about my algebra grade...Well, yeah, I did have an F, but I moved down to Regents, so it should go up a lot.

haha wait till u see MY grades then u'll see what "bad grades" really are. i'd be pretty content w/those grades as of now. still trying here!

I wish I had your grading scale. At my school 95-100 is an A, so basically...life's not fair.

they're B+ so why can't you get them up?
if all else fails, ask your teachers if they are wiling to bump you up. Yu could take a joking approach so it's not awkward, or you can earnestly get down on your knees and plead.

I hate my grades too, but that's school for you :)

I am in a similar predicament to some of the people on here...I had THE highest B+ possible (92.4 and the teacher rounds up) going into my midterm and I studied by butt off and it was the hardest freaking test I've ever taken in my ENTIRE life!!!!!! I absolutely love my IB bio teacher, and she makes biology actually interesting for me, but the class is extremely challenging...she actually told us last year (it's a two year class) that her tests were designed so that no student should get higher than a 90 percent. As of right now nobody is getting an A, but I'm pretty sure I'm the closest. However, my lab partner is second in our class (I'm first) and there has been some serious competition between us in the past few weeks....I don't know what her GPA is, and I'm afraid if I get a B+ and she somehow manages an A that I will no longer be first...not only that, my mother will KILL me if I get a B, because I've never gotten one before and this will be the death of both her and me...plus, it doesn't help that my brother just started as a freshman and now he's failing left and right, so she's totally stressed and angry about that....anyone have any advice for me?

im mad about my grades too.. all of my classes are soo hard this year.. the only grade bringing me up is spanish which i got a 100 in.. but all the other ones are soo hard and my 1st marking period was not good

And I thought I was hard on myself...seriously, kid, get over it.
