Good teacher recs.

What are my chances at:
Boston College
Boston U.
Wellesley
Mt. Holyoke
Duke
William and Mary
U. of Mary Washington
George Washington
Middlebury
American U.
Northeastern

If possible, rate them on a scale of 1-10 or throw in accepted/rejected.

Thank you so much CCers!!

Your EC's seem a bit weak. Nothing extraordinary. no rank/gpa? Your ACT is really low man. Might wanna work on that

I'd say you're into everything but duke... your ACT is decent. Work on that science and math score. You might need a little more leadership in your ECs, but you're not bad

Wyoming gives you a nice bump.........most schools would like students from every state and your's isn't too well represented so they will all look at you.

I think your list is reasonable - you have likelies, matches and long shots. What is a Box Girl?

Anyone else? My class rank is 1/165 or so and I have a 4.00 (school does not weight GPA).

Bump......

All but Duke.

she has a shot at duke, though it is a reach

You have NO chance. Sorry. Duke might be a reach.......................

Bump.........

you will do JUST fine my possum

Anyone besides PrincetonFreak?

If you have a 4.0 and are first in the class, I think you're into BU, BC, American U, GW, and Northeastern with little problem. Duke is still a reach, like others said. ACT is a little on the low side but many schools are not weighing standardized tests as much these days.

Your act is definitely NOT low for BU or GW.

I'm just a student but heres my conjecture:
Boston College - match
Boston U. - slight reach/match
Wellesley - slight reach/ reach (great school by the way)
Mt. Holyoke - not sure for this 1
Duke - reach/you never know (these days its so random)
William and Mary - not sure (good school)
U. of Mary Washington - ionno
George Washington - slight reach/match
Middlebury - ionno
American U. - match/maybe even safety
Northeastern - match/safety

those are unprofessional guesses. I'm basing my decisions from the pple who've been accepted/rejected at my school.

Good luck!

Oh any if your ranks 1 that might help if your schools decently competitive.

H20nline, BU is definitely easier to get into than BC. BU would be a match/safety for a valedictorian from wyoming with a 30 ACT. Boston College would be a match/reach, but I think she has a great chance.

think i mixed them up sry~

BU and BC are very comparable.
