I already posted this on the chances forum but no one has given me any responses concerning my chances. Georgetown is where I want to go! When I got my SAT scores, my dreams sort of died, but the ACT has renewed my hope.

Please help me out!

Your ACT and SAT 2's are excellent, so don't worry about the SAT. EC's are solid, being captain and having other leadership positions, in addition to being a page, is great. Class rank, while in the top 10%, could definitely improve, so just work on that and make sure your schedule is most rigorous. Honestly, you have a good chance, but the whole process is a crapshoot. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response! Well I just got my SAT scores back and they are so much better. I got a 2140 (CR-770 M-630 W-740)!! I know my math score is still out of Georgetown's range, but I don't think I can do any better than that. Should I retake again? Suggestions anyone?

as a recently accepted student i would say no, you have to accept what your scores are and work on other parts of your app. your scores are totally fine. stop worrying, and think about how to strengthen the rest of your app. the majority of the applicants to gtown have great scores and gpa but what makes them accepted is how they portray themself in the app. best of luck! i am sure you will do fine.

Thank you for your advice and positive feedback! Actually, I am perfectly happy with my math score. I just expected people to tell me I should retake it. I'm happy that I got over 600 to tell you the truth...
