<p>I'm a white California girl, who's applying ED to Dartmouth for the class of 2015. It's my dream school!! Please take the time to chance me! :)</p>

<p>GPA: Academic uw: 3.92

Lang & Comp: 4</p>

<p>I've taken the hardest courses available at my school, including 4 Honors and APs both Soph and Jr year. I'm currently taking 3 APs, and 6 classes total.</p>

<p>Athletics:
Club Soccer since 4th grade (co-captain)
School Soccer (JV) freshman year
School track (JV) Jr year</p>

<p>EC:
I started my own dog walking and pet sitting business in ninth grade: 7 hrs/week
I volunteer at an animal shelter: 4 hrs/week
President of French Club
Officer on Music Council
I volunteered during Spring Break at a camp for underprivileged kids
Officer in Environmental Club
Babysitting</p>

<p>Awards:
Scholar Athlete Freshman and Jr year
Outstanding Achievement in Physics Jr year</p>

<p>Essay: How my dog walking business inspired me to work at an animal shelter, which inspired me to want to become a veterinarian. I also talk about all of that in relation to its impact on me presently.</p>

<p>Recommendations: Definitely good. From my Physics teacher last year (who gave me an award) and my French teacher who I work with for French club and who I babysit for.</p>

<p>Doesn’t look particularly likely to me ED unless you can be recruited for soccer. Your schedule may be challenging, but your SATIIs and AP scores seem to indicate a less than stellar preparation at your school. (You might want to consider NOT citing your AP scores on the Common App since you’ll have to report those 3s…)</p>

<p>ED is very, very competitive for the unhooked student. But you never know. You might knock their socks off with the essay and have recs saying you are the best student they’ve ever seen. Good luck.</p>
