<p>i know it's been asked and even i asked it before but i just want to know if any deferred people have heard yet or know when the deferred people from previous years heard back. and also i've heard two sides...i heard about 50% of the deferrals get accepted and then i heard hardly any of the deferrals get accepted...just anyone with some insight PLEASE HELP. I'm dying with this wait...as much as i try to not get my hopes up b/c i'm pretty sure i'll get waitlisted but i know if it's anything but an acceptance i'm going to be SO dissapointed!</p>
<p>50 % has been the benchmark for the past couple of years, but I'm pretty sure this year will be much lower due to the increase/competitiveness of this years's applicant pool.</p>

<p>In normal years, they try to let everyone know by April 1. I don't know if this will be a normal year, though.</p>
<p>but don't deferred applicants usually hear in mid-april? i check everyday and its the same thing...i just really want to know what the decision is! i should probably just plan on going somewhere else...:-( I wish i could just hear by april 1st!!</p>
