I'm sorry..please just chance me I only put the bare minimum in!

Hey everyone! Sorry to do this cause I know it gets annoying..but I'm tired of trying to like figure out if i have a shot from other people's posts.

so anyway, i have a 3.52 and a 1760 on my SAT's.
is that good enough to get into the summer session at university park?? i guess my stuff is in the ballpark for fall but on the waaay lower end according to the website. so i'm not sure. help me out?

in state i assume? I think you're pretty safe for summer session....

<a href="http://admissions.psu.edu/info/counselors/bubble_chart06.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://admissions.psu.edu/info/counselors/bubble_chart06.pdf</a></p>

you can get an idea by looking at this chart, although it is just a guide.

yes, in state

yeah your in for summer if your in state, our grades are similar, your sats are higher and my gpa is higher so i think we both have a good shot

haha yeah we seem to be in the same boat.
i'm hoping being in state will help me and the fact that i applied in late august.
hopefully we both get in! are you in state as well?

yeah about 2 hours away from state college

alright yeah i'm around 3 hours away
is it easier to get in if you're in state then?

It is not easier to get in if you are a PA resident. PSU does not consider state residency when they evaluate your application.

okay, well i'm just really concerned with whether i'll get in summer session academically. what do you think?

^I think you'll be find for summer session. You're still around the upper 2 yellow dots in the chart.

i heard out of state residents, especially from underrepresented states, have a slightly easier chance of getting in. is this true?

i don't think so. i'm not sure they care so much about state residency. it has to be more about the grades
