Northwestern University emailed me that they're still missing my Secondary School forms and Counselor Recommendation.
This is despite the fact that I've had my school send it two times already, first time in Late December, second time about two weeks ago.

And so, I went to my counselor to try to get her to fax it over.
However, she wasn't there. In fact, she hasn't been here this WHOLE week, so I told the secretary to fax it.

After rereading the email, I notice they said
"If we do not receive the items needed to complete your application by
Monday,
February 22, your application to Northwestern will be withdrawn and no
longer
considered for admission."

Since I didn't stress this date, I'm SERIOUSLY worried about whether or not it'll get there in time. What should I do?
And, if they haven't faxed it yet, would the school still accept it on that very day, Monday?(on which I can go and find out whether she faxed it, and if she hasn't, convince her to fax it ASAP that very second)

For whatever reason, the paperwork Northwestern requires has not yet been received. I encourage you to go to your counselor/office first thing on Monday morning, and talk to whomever you need to to get this paperwork sent again. Do not leave the office until you see them send it and then have your counselor call the admissions office to confirm receipt. It will be worth the effort, don’t you think?
G’Luck!

Did NU give you an applicant ID number or something to put on the top of the things you still have to send in? If so, make sure that ID number is correct. Maybe your school did send these things off, but there’s a discrepancy that makes NU unable to match them with the rest of your application. Are your name, social security number, etc., exactly the same on the missing forms as they are on the rest of your app?

I agree with APOL that you should not leave the guidance counselor’s office until you actually SEE her fax over the forms, and then watch while she calls NU to confirm that they got them. Be polite about it, since guidance counselors are insanely busy people, but don’t back down. Insist that she send the forms immediately Monday morning, and make sure she follows through.
