I'm still up in arms...

I've read a lot of threads but I still can't decide what would be the best route for me to go.

I take the SAT October 4th. I've taken it once before in January of 08 and got a

1920
Math: 690
Reading: 590
Writing:620

I took an SAT class leading up to it but I blew it off and didn't do their work and just played calculator games.

My goal is a 2200-2300

My question is should I get the Gruber's for math and the Rocket Review for reading and writing or should I just jump straight into the Barron's 2400?

I've read about the Barron's 2400 is really hard but works; I've also read it's bad and totally not interactive, and that it doesn't even give definitions for its 3000 words.

If Barron's 2400 is really the only way to get a really high score I'm willing to buy it and study my butt off on it.

Anyways what do you guys think would be a better route for me?
