I'm such an idiot

I didn’t sign the release of my supp essay for EA due Nov 1st. Just figured it out. Suggestions?

Submit now and Keep your fingers crossed.

And call admissions. But don’t call yourself an idiot to them. Just say you made a mistake.

I signed it immediately this morning when I realized it. I would not blame them one bit for putting my application to RD. Huge oversight on my part and I need to own it. I’ll still call, though.

Oh the stress and frustration when you think you made a big mistake on something very import any import ant. Good news! You are not the only one who made that same mistake. Calm down and then call the appropriate person and ask for help. Take down time, name, and other information needed to get back to and trigger recall. Mostly you will find sympathetic, helpful, reassuring, kind and sorts helpful people. Ask how getting the information to them quickly and attention of…and do it promptly. I would tend to sending email or using fax because the signature will be visible.

If the person is rude, not helpful, accuses you of doing something to extend due date, etc., you have learned important formation.

Be polite, concerned, needing help etc. has helped me through some difficult situations and mostly successfully. Thank profusely. Then take a nap so you well be rested when the next head banger happens.

BTY…Idiots don’t realize they made a mistake.

What is a release? Are you talking about the last page of the common app before you submit where you sign?

I don’t think it will be a big problem. Contact admissions and ask how to handle it.

@whereintheworld1 No, I payed and submitted and the green check mark appears but this particular school has a separate writing release in the common app where you have to sign and say the work is yours and as soon as you submit you cannot change it. Not all schools have it and it is very ambiguous. Hope others learn from my mistake.
