Alright, so I have a little over a month to prepare for the ACT. I have the English, Writing, and Reading part down (I've always been good at those) and typically miss 2-3 questions for each portion. I enjoy writing essays as well, so I'm not too worried about those parts, and with a little practice I could easily improve.

Science I'm okay at. I could do a lot better but I could do much, much worse. Does anybody have any advice on how to improve my science score? According to the grading chart in the back of the book I'm averaging around 22-23 for every practice test I take.

As for math, I'm a disaster. I will truly believe that I have the correct answer, yet its wrong. Math has always been a struggle for me (starting in fourth grade to be exact.) I'm hoping my English, Reading, and Science scores will help to make up for the math part. I've just been doing the practice tests over and over again. Every time I do them I improve a little bit, but I'm still not happy. I want to be certain that I'm right as opposed to this "I guess so, hopefully that's right" method that I'm using now.

By the way, I have the Red Book. That's what I'm using to help prepare for the test. I've also ordered a book that focuses only on the Mathematics portion of the test, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm hoping that will help me too.
