I'm taking the Jan 7 SSAT. Help.

<p>Well, it's sort of a long story, but boarding isn't for me.
It'd probably be fun to board at a school for a little while, like a vacation maybe, but not permanently.</p>

<p>Well I was working on one application that asked me to write about my extracurriculars. I did a lot of stuff. So now reading my response, it's either I'm really critical on myself OR I sound like a complete show off in the response. I know you're not supposed to say this because it's presumptuous, but I'm really modest and cannot stand showing off/show off-ers, because it's so disrepectful.</p>

Is it more important to study analogies/synonym strategies or practicing the problems? I have tonight and tomorrow night to study. I have a meeting on Friday night.. sigh.</p>

<p>ssat is basically the entrance exam for selective high schools. you take it and get a percentile and high school admissions look at that as part of the file, basically.</p>

<p>No, certain schools require only the SSAT while others require only ISEE.</p>
