I have to take the SSAT in January because my December registration got messed up. I read on here that although Andover and Exeter accept January testing, it lowers your chances of being accepted. Is this true?

That’s not true at all!

Would I still get an acceptance/rejection letter on March 10th?

Applications are making me so stressed. I haven’t even completed the candidate profile yet D;

Do Peddie and Hotchkiss accept January Testing?

I don’t know about those schools, I’m not applying there. If it’s not on their website then guess you could just call the admissions office.

hotchkiss does, my friend is taking the ssat in january and she checked with hotchkiss… not sure about peddie, though that’s worrying me too as well. Because I am taking it january and I don’t know whether peddie will accept it that late. i hope you find out the answer- and please post it on here if u do.

im sure that janurary ssat does not mean you’re lowering your chance. if youre handing in the entire application after january 15 in exeter/andover, your chances are lowered.

It’s all good, I’m applying to Andover as a boarding student and I emailed the admissions office and they said it was perfectly fine to take the SSAT in January
