I'm the only UChicago applicant who...

Dude, you're poisonous...and that's cool. I didn't know volunteer fire companies still existed

I'm also an indian immigrant (been in states for less than 5 years) who is a volunteer firefighter at a completely volunteer fire company. Pretty cool eh?

That's pretty awesome, actually. My dad was bit by a squirrel he tried to pet once. Actually, most animals hate him. He's kind of intimidating, but he makes me laugh. Last year, I started off my OO on Obesity with, "Watching my dad eat is like watching a game of Risk...except he doesn't really eat. He inhales his food."

All the departments in my area are volunteer, i was told one in an area nearby where houses are worth much over 500 grand is a paid department but in an area like mine where theyre 200ish grand its all volunteer. I was out for like 6 hours today helping with fundraising and answering calls, so i never got to the 6 hrs of calc hw i was going to do.

And i love animals, but for some reason they don't love me back half as much as they should. Drat.

I forgot to mention that i did get bitten by a monkey too. And i was trying to feed it banana chips, stupid monkey didnt know what it was missing :-P. And i ended up getting shots for its folly, grr...

My Boston-suburb neighborhood is all 500 grand (and up) housing, but our fire/ambulance is all volunteer.

Anyway, I'm not sure I can beat you, ridethecliche, but I was once bitten by a water snake and one time my parents thought I was bitten by a bat, but I wasn't.

My son was also attacked by a llama

500 grand? In San Francisco that is a slum appartment. (rent is insane)

I've got a good one:

I just returned from a 2.5 hour interview for Chicago.

I elbowed the new principal of my school this year (on accident).

Only person to win a Table Tennis game as the opponent retired hurt. :)
(Smashed the ball, hit his eye... im a badminton player --> not TT)

magnusrex, did you do an alumni interview, because the adcoms restricted me to 45 minutes?

...eats dinner at 11:30.

conceeded... thats unique :D

...hasn't been attacked by a rabinous animal in a suburban environment?

and I had e-coli a couple years ago. almost died. good stuff.

I found e-coli in Lake Michigan. E-coli is an indicator for pathogens, so that was quite...interesting.

Is in Chile for a year (while applying to colleges :P).

is still writing his essay (as if! i know there's more people like me out there)

um i guess i'm the only one who cleans people's houses for $$
pretty sad :(
