After being slighted by pretty much some of the colleges which I thought I was a guaranteed acceptance, I feel like I have no other choice but to transfer. How would you go about transferring? Right now it looks I'm going to Fordham which was my safety... Can I transfer to a college like cooper union? I really want to go there but I didn't apply for some stupid reason. By if I transfer, do colleges stilll look at SAT scores or first semester college grades?

What are my chances of getting into Cooper?
SAT: 2120 math: 740 cr: 720 writing: 660
sat II: math II: 740 physics: 710
GPA: 95.4

There is a whole forum just for Transfer issues. Here is the link. Start by reading the thread at the top titled “Transfer Admissions 101”.
Lots of people with better scores and grades than you have didn’t get in anywhere they wanted to this year, so you are in good company. If Fordham is the best option left, go there, get good grades, and think about applying for a transfer if you are not particularly happy after you have been there for year or so. But do give the place a chance.
